8.5×12 Tandem Axle Fiber Optic Splicing Trailer | White | 50 Amp | 15K A/C & Heat

This 8.5×12 tandem axle fiber optic splicing trailer is finished in white Polycore with a blackout package and is purpose-built as a mobile workspace for fiber optic and telecommunications field operations.

The insulated interior is finished with white metal walls and ceiling and durable rubber coin flooring. Dedicated splicing access is provided through 16×18 service doors positioned for cable and fiber work around the trailer.

The electrical system includes a 50 amp package with MC cable and motorbase plug, a 12V battery with converter, six total receptacles and GFI protection near the access doors. Extensive 12V LED lighting includes center strip lights, cabinet lighting, work-area lighting and independently switched exterior loading lights.

Climate control is provided by an installed 15,000 BTU A/C and heat unit.

The workspace includes a long stationary work shelf with mill-finish metal work surface, additional passenger-side shelving, white base cabinetry with three drawers and a large two-door overhead cabinet.

A generator compartment with slide-out tray is integrated beneath the base cabinet. The compartment is designed for generator storage and access; the build sheet does not list a generator as included equipment.

Access features include a 36-inch RV-style side door, 36-inch rear-center RV door, windows in the RV doors and a 30×30 driver-side window.

Additional safety and field-use equipment includes exterior safety strobe lights, rear directional arrow lights, CO2 detector, fire extinguisher, rear stabilizer jacks, spare tire, 66-inch triple-tube tongue and Cool Seal roof protection.

The trailer rides on tandem 3,500 lb spring axles with EZ Lube hubs and radial tires.
